PSTN Recording Notification

The Announcement for PSTN subscribers function automatically informs both the Microsoft Teams-User and the PSTN caller when call recording begins. In addition, a signal tone can be activated that sounds at regular intervals during call recording to continuously inform the participants about the active recording.

In some countries the beep is mandatory and must be issued during call recording.

The beep informs call participants that call recording continues to be active.

Option/Function		Description
	Configure number prefixes
	Number prefix	In the field Number prefix, enter the respective country code without the preceding '0' separated by commas. Example: 49, 41, 43, 496021 (3 country codes, 1 country code with prefix)
	Delete prefixes	Click on the icon to delete the created number prefixes and the corresponding custom start and stop announcements.
	Beep tone	Activate the check box Beeptone to activate the signal tone during call recording. Activate beep with selectable repetition for call recording. Click on the check box Beep tone. In the field Repetition enter the frequency with which the beep is supposed to be repeated. The minimum is 5 seconds.

Custom announcement

The Custom announcement function allows you to define individual start and stop announcements for calls with PSTN users. These announcements can be uploaded and used either for specific country codes or as a standard announcement without a prefix. This ensures flexible and customized communication for different regions or requirements.

Option/Function		Description
	Upload file	NOTICE! The only supported files are WAV files in mono format, PCM16-bit, 256 bit/sec, 16,000 Hz are supported. Click on the field Upload, select the file in the file manager and confirm with Open. The selected file is uploaded to Recording Insights. Click on the field Update to change the start and stop announcements, see option Prefixes and Upload file.
	Check announcement	Start and stop announcements can be tested and played before activation. Click on the icon to listen to the custom start and stop announcements. Click on the icon to interrupt replay.
	Default custom announcement	Activate the check box Default custom announcement to configure user-defined greetings without specifying a prefix.
	Beep tone	Activate the check box Beeptone to activate the signal tone during call recording. Activate beep with selectable repetition for call recording. Click on the check box Beep tone. In the field Repetition enter the frequency with which the beep is supposed to be repeated. The minimum is 5 seconds. Announcement files can be updated or removed at any time.
