Import Type

The data for the import is made available in different information and/or CSV files.

NOTICE! Storage information is required for most Import Types. You can find examples for Storage Connection Strings in the table below. Information on other fields relating to storage can be found under numbers 7 and 8 on Add Import Job.

EVOIPneo	Only storage information is required, see numbers 7 and 8 on Add Import Job.
RedBox	Only storage information is required, see numbers 7 and 8 on Add Import Job.
ASC RI	Only storage information is required, see numbers 7 and 8 on Add Import Job.
Numonix	Click on the button Upload to upload and save a key file. Depending on your operating system, the installed file manager opens. Microsoft Windows: The Windows Explorer opens. Select the respective file and click on the button Open. The selected key file is uploaded to Recording Insights. The selected key file is displayed.
Genesys	Click on the button Upload to upload and save a key file. Depending on your operating system, the installed file manager opens. Microsoft Windows: The Windows Explorer opens. Select the respective file and click on the button Open. The selected key file is uploaded to Recording Insights. The selected key file is displayed. Enter a user or group name to restrict the access to the import.

API 8x8	Recording Insights allows importing audio conversations and metadata from 8x8: Direct import via API (Cloud Storage Service Public API), without using an exchange storage. 8x8 recording type Call recording is required. Only 1:1 calls in MP3 format are transferred. Metadata of recording Date Start Time Duration Type Set a start day and time for the import to start. Set an end day and time for the import to end. To set an interval, see Add Import Job. NOTICE! The required right User.Read.All must be shared for Recording Insights by the customer during onboarding.
Verba	The import type Verba resembles other existing Blob Storage imports. Only storage information is required, see numbers 7 and 8 on Add Import Job.
Kerv	Click on the button Upload to upload and save a key file. Depending on your operating system, the installed file manager opens. Microsoft Windows: The Windows Explorer opens. Select the respective file and click on the button Open. The selected key file is uploaded to Recording Insights. The selected key file is displayed.
SmartNumbers	Click on the button Upload to upload and save a key file. Depending on your operating system, the installed file manager opens. Microsoft Windows: The Windows Explorer opens. Select the respective file and click on the button Open. The selected key file is uploaded to Recording Insights. The selected key file is displayed.
Dubber	Only storage information is required, see numbers 7 and 8 on Add Import Job.
Abelia	Only storage information is required, see numbers 7 and 8 on Add Import Job.
Neo Transfer	Enter the Transfer ID. NOTICE! No Storage information required.
Neo Download Client	Only storage information is required, see numbers 7 and 8 on Add Import Job.
Recordia	Click on the button Upload to upload and save a key file. Depending on your operating system, the installed file manager opens. Microsoft Windows: The Windows Explorer opens. Select the respective file and click on the button Open. The selected key file is uploaded to Recording Insights. The selected key file is displayed.

Import type API 8x8

Recording Insights allows importing audio conversations and metadata from 8x8:

Direct import via API (Cloud Storage Service Public API), without using an exchange storage.
8x8 recording type Callrecording is required.
Only 1:1 calls in MP3 format are transferred.

Interval setting for periodic import.

The shortest interval to be recommended is 1 hour.

Retention Time (Days) Target Storage Fallback in Recording Insights		NOTICE! Recordings from 8x8 do not have a predefined retention time. The retention time is defined by Recording Insights.
User Mapping
User to User		Select the option User to User.
−	Fallback user	Define a Fallback user. If no user can be mapped to the recordings, the fallback user will be used. Click on the field Fallback user. Select one or several users or groups from the drop-down list to map the imports to.
User to Compliance Officer		Select the option User to Compliance Officer to map all imports to one or several specified users or groups. Example: Compliance officer or compliance staff. The field User to Compliance Officer is displayed. Click in the field User to Compliance Officer. Select one or several users or groups from the drop-down list that the imports are supposed to be mapped to.

Import type Verba

The import type Verba resembles other existing Blob Storage imports.

Data is imported in the following formats:

Audio
WAV files in the format: PCM u8, 16 kHz Stereo
Video
MP4 files in the format: MPEG AAC 48kHz + H264
Parts of metadata
XML files in the format: UTF-8

	Storage Connection Name	Enter a container name in the field Storage Connection Name.
	Storage Root Directory	In the field Storage Root Directory, enter a directory name.

	Retention Time (Days) Target Storage Fallback in Recording Insights	NOTICE! Recordings from Verba do not have a predefined retention time. The retention time is defined by Recording Insights.
