Edit policy rule enables the compliance officer or compliance employee to adapt existing policy rules.
NOTICE! Policy rules are used elsewhere in the system, for example in policies. Changes to the policy rule are applied everywhere and immediately.
Select a policy rule to be edited.
Click on the button Edit Rule.
The following window is displayed (example):

Version
NOTICE! The version counter is started with the first saved change to the policy rule.
The version shows the number of changes to the policy rule created. By selecting an earlier version, a policy rule that has already been created can be restored.
Select an earlier version.
Click on the button Restore version to save the version. Click on the button Cancel to discard the settings.
The policy rule is closed.

Name
Unambiguous name of the policy rule.
NOTICE! If you click save and a scorecard with this name already exists, you will receive the following error message:

Description
Entering a description is optional. Enter further details in the field if required.

Personal
Define who can see the policy rule:
Activate the check box Personal to ensure that the policy rule is visible only to yourself.
Deactivate the checkbox so that all users with a compliance license can see the policy rule.

Criteria
Define the criteria from keywords, categories, patterns, mandatory announcements and AI questions in the policy rules. Connect them logically with AND or OR.
NOTICE! Individual keywords can be added to the Keywords criterion in the policy rule. Only options that have already been created can be selected for the remaining criteria.
Click in the field Trigger Types to add a trigger type.
Confirm the trigger type by clicking on the button Add.
To create additional trigger types, repeat steps 1 and 2.
NOTICE! The criteria are explained in more detail in a separate section later on this page. You will find further instructions there.
Logical linking of several trigger types within a policy rule
Click on the button AND or OR to logically combine several trigger types.
Select AND if the selected trigger types are supposed to apply simultaneously.
Select OR if at least one trigger type is supposed to apply.
Criteria
The policy rule is defined by the logical linking of different criteria. The criteria can be combined with an AND or OR link.

Select Keywords from the drop-down list.
Click on the button Add to add the criterion to the policy rule.
Enter the keyword in the input field.
Click on the button Add to add the keyword to the policy rule.
To add further keywords, repeat points 3 and 4.

Categories
The Categories criterion can be used to add categories that have already been configured.
Select Categories from the drop-down list.
Click on the button Add to add the criterion to the policy rule.
Select one or more categories from the drop-down list.
NOTICE! As soon as several categories are selected, a further field appears Select connection. There are 3 options to define the connection within the categories.
Select AND if the selected criteria should apply together.
Select OR if at least one trigger type is supposed to apply.
Select MINIMUM if several categories should apply as the minimum unit.

Patterns
The criterion Patterns can be used to add already configured pattern recognitions.
In the drop-down list select Patterns.
Click on the button Add to add the criterion to the policy rule.
Select one or more pattern recognitions from the drop-down list.
NOTICE! As soon as several pattern recognitions are selected, a further field appears Select connection. Here you have the option to define the connection within the pattern recognition.
Select AND if the selected criteria should apply together.
Select OR if at least one trigger type is supposed to apply.
Select MINIMUM if several categories should apply as the minimum unit.

Adherence phrases
The criterion adherence phrases can be used to add mandatory announcements that have already been configured.
Select an adherence phrase in the drop-down list.
Click on the button Add to add the criterion to the policy rule.
Select one or more mandatory announcements from the drop-down list.
NOTICE! As soon as several mandatory announcements are selected, a further field appears Select connection. Here you have the option of defining the connection within the mandatory announcements.
Select AND if the selected criteria should apply together.
Select OR if at least one trigger type is supposed to apply.
Select MINIMUM if several categories should apply as the minimum unit.

AI Questions
The criterion AI questions can be used to add AI questions that have already been configured.
Select AI Questions from the drop-down list.
Click on the button Add to add the criterion to the policy rule.
Select one or more AI questionn from the drop-down list.
NOTICE! As soon as several AI questions are selected, a further field appears Select connection. Here you have the option to define the connection within the AI questions.
Select AND if the selected criteria should apply together.
Select OR if at least one trigger type is supposed to apply.
Select MINIMUM if several categories should apply as the minimum unit.

AI Adherence phrases
The AI adherence phrases criterion can be used to add AI mandatory announcements that have already been configured.
Select AI adherence phrases in the drop-down list.
Click on the button Add to add the criterion to the policy rule.
Select one or more AI adherence phrases from the drop-down list.
NOTICE! As soon as several AI adherence phrases are selected, a further field appears Select connection. Here you have the option to define the connection within the AI adherence phrases.
Select AND if the selected criteria should apply together.
Select OR if at least one trigger type is supposed to apply.
Select MINIMUM if several categories should apply as the minimum unit.
Click on the button Save to save the settings.
Click on the button Cancel to discard the settings.
