Create pattern with fragments

Create a pattern for a string of characters to explicitly search for this string of characters, e. g. for an IBAN number, e-mail address, etc.

Create pattern with fragments
  1. In the field Name, enter an unambiguous name which does not exist in the system yet for the new pattern.
  2. Entering a description is optional.
    In the field Description, you can enter additional information and details about the field of application.

Select type

Click in the field Select type and select an option from the drop-down list.

  • Letters
  • Numbers
  • Special characters
  • Alphanumeric (letters, numbers)

Input Field

Enter the number of characters for letters, numbers, special characters or alphanumerical characters in the field.

  • A number (example: 2)
  • A range (example: up to 15 characters)

Entry field or exact

In the entry field or exact, enter the respective string of characters (example: @, asc, etc.)

Add another fragment.

  1. Click on the button Save to save the entries.
    NOTICE! When entering an already existing name, an error message is issued.
  2. Error message - Name already exists. Enter a different name.
  3. Click on the button Cancel to discard the entries.
