Create pattern with fragments

Here, you can create patterns for strings of characters to be able to search for this string of characters, e. g. an IBAN or an e-mail address.

Adjust the required settings:

Name

  1. In the field Name, enter a new unambiguous name for the new pattern.

NOTICE! When saving the pattern, you will receive an error message if a pattern recognition with this name already exists.

Description

  1. Entering a description is optional.
  2. Enter in the entry field Description, enter additional details and information about the application field.

  1. Enter the fragments for your string of characters.

Move the fragment up or down.

Delete the fragment.

Select type

Click in the field Select type and select an option from the drop-down list.

  • Letters
  • Numbers
  • Icons (special characters)
  • AlphaNumeric (Letters, numbers)

Input field

In the entry field, enter the number of characters for the letters, digits, special characters or alphanumeric characters.

  • A digit (example 2)
  • A range (example: up to 15 characters)

Input field or exact

Enter in the entry field or exact, enter the respective string of characters (example: @, asc, etc.)

Add an additional fragment.

  1. Click on the button Save to save the settings.
  2. Click on the button Cancel to discard the settings.
