Skills and Prompts
To get the most out of the ASC Copilot Agent, Recording Insights provides a set of dedicated skills along with sample prompts that demonstrate how to use them effectively. These skills define the specific functions the agent can perform, and the prompts serve as examples of how to trigger those functions via chat.
- Skills describe the supported capabilities of the ASC Copilot Agent within Recording Insights.
- Prompts are examples of how to activate those skills using natural language.

Important for ASC Copilot Agent usage:
- Use clear and specific prompts: To ensure accurate interpretation of your commands, avoid ambiguous phrases and use explicit language.
- Prompt variations work: You can experiment with different phrases to discover how Copilot responds and displays results.
- Re-entering prompts may be necessary: Sometimes a prompt needs to be repeated before it is executed correctly. This behavior is expected to improve over time.
- Default time frame: If no time frame is specified in your prompt, the agent will default to retrieving data from the last 7 days.
