Skills and Prompts

To get the most out of the ASC Copilot Agent, Recording Insights provides a set of dedicated skills along with sample prompts that demonstrate how to use them. These skills define the specific functions the agent can perform, and the prompts serve as examples of how to trigger those functions via chat.

Settings for ASC Copilot Agent usage:

The Start/Stop skill does not work if Bulk Recording is specified in the Recording Rule. For all other Recording Types the Start/Stop skill works.

To configure the setting Record On-demand, see Administration Manual Recording Insights Configure > tab Settings > User configuration > tab Rules > Configure Recording Rule > Recording Type.

Important for ASC Copilot Agent usage:
- Use clear and specific prompts to ensure accurate results.
- Avoid ambiguous wording - explicit instructions improve interpretation.
- Occasionally, prompts may need to be re‑submitted.
- Prompt variations can produce similar results - experiment to find what works best.
- If no time frame is given, Copilot defaults to the last 7 days.
- Go to Recording Insights Conversation opens the conversation in the browser version.
- Show Transcript displays the conversation transcript.
- First-day use requires confirming a few connection prompts between Recording Insights & Agent.
- Recording Insights role-based access applies.

Duration Search

  • Show me all recordings with a duration between X and X minutes.

 

Transcript Access

NOTICE! Summaries or the derivation of action points now work without having to request the transcript beforehand. Without entering a specific time frame, only data from the last 7 days will be retrieved.

  • Provide me with recordings from last week along the transcript.
  • Show me all recordings from today along with the transcript. Please do not write/include the whole transcript in chat
  • Please summarize each transcript and deduct to do’s.

 

Analysis

  • Show me all recordings from yesterday and summarize each conversation.
  • Show me all recordings from this week and deduct action points.

The combination of those two works as well:

  • Show me all recordings from today, summarize each conversation and deduct action points.

Further Skill: Conversation Search

  • Show me the recording with conversation ID [Conversation ID].
  • Show me the recordings in a table.
