Tab Fields

Configuration of user-defined fields with which additional customer information (e.g. customer numbers or call participants) is recorded or actions and notifications are triggered. Creating fields, setting up input formats (e.g. numeric or alphanumeric), configuring trigger actions and defining notification texts.

Activate the tab Fields, see Access & Right− Configure administrator rights > Create and Edit Rules > Custom Fields
Configure post-editing time, read and write permissions for custom fields, see User Configuration > Access & Right - Configure user rights > Various User Rights > Access Fields.

The following content is displayed in columns:

Column

Description

Custom Field Name

Unambiguous, unique name of the job.

Mapping

Indicates whether the field is linked to external systems.

Check logic

Activates a check function to validate the entries according to defined rules, e.g. for customer numbers.

Numbers

Specifies that the field only allows numerical entries.

Alpha Numeric

Allows you to enter letters and numbers in the field.

Max. Count

Defines the maximum number of fields that can be created.

Field length

Defines the maximum number of permitted characters per field.

Max./Exact

Specifies whether the exact character length must be adhered to. When activated, the entry can only be saved if the specified character length is reached.

Check Box

Enables the activation of additional options, e.g. triggers for actions or notifications.

Trigger action

Activates specific actions, e.g.: changing the storage time (TTL).

Select action

Enables the selection of specific action parameters, e.g. Number of days for the TTL.

Notifications

Configures notifications that can be sent to specific users or groups based on field changes or actions.

Opens the online help, see Open help.

Refresh view

Refreshes the currently displayed tab.

User configuration
exit

Cancels user configuration. The tab Settings is loaded again.

Add Custom Field

Create new custom fields for customer information and actions, e.g. Customer number, call participant.

Edit Custom Field

Edit and delete custom fields for customer information and actions, e.g. Customer number, call participant.
