Access & Right− Configure administrator rights

Access & rights - Admin rights offers comprehensive management and control options for system administrators. Extended authorizations are defined here, which enable administrators to manage system-wide settings, user access and critical functions. This configuration ensures that only authorized persons have the necessary rights to make far-reaching changes to the system.

The focus is on managing and assigning admin rights that go far beyond the rights of a regular user. These rights relate to core administrative tasks such as the definition of guidelines, the export of sensitive data or the management of archived content.

You can configure the following settings:

Option/ Function

Description

License management

Authorized to assign and manage user licenses.

  • List user: The user is given access to the user configuration. Allows you to view all users within the system, including filter options for administration.
  • Add User: The user is given access to the user configuration and tenant configuration. Allows you to add new users with defined access and roles.
  • Ticket Access: Access to ticket management, e.g. for processing inquiries or troubleshooting.

Create and Edit Rules

Rights to customize and extend recording, replay, access & right and analytics rules.

  1. Recording: Authorization to create and edit recording rules, see Configure recording rule.
  2. Replay: Authorization to create and edit replay rules, see Configure replay rule.
  3. Access & Right: Authorization to create and edit access and right rules, see Configure access & right.
  4. Analytics: Authorization to create and edit analytics rules, see Configure analytics rule.
  5. Access Audit Logs: Authorization to access the audit reports in the Dashboard tab.

  10. Activate the check box Administrate custom fields to create and edit custom fields.
  11. Activate the check box Define action to change the TTL retention time in an custom field.
  12. Suspension of recording deletion process: Authorization to suspend all deletion processes for users within the tenant configuration, see Suspend deletion processes for all conversations of a tenant. Example: In the event of an official investigation, it is necessary to temporarily stop all deletion processes.

  • Map external users

  • No Assignment: User cannot assign and change rules (recording rule, replay rule, access & rights rule and analytics).
  • Certain Users: User can assign and change rules (recording rule, replay rule, access & rights rule and analytics).
  • Hierarchy: Users of an area/department can assign and change rules (recording rule, replay rule, access & rights rule and analytics). The hierarchy structure must already exist and is read out via Microsoft Entra ID.
  • All: Users can assign and change rules (recording rule, replay rule, access and right rule and analytics rule) for all users.
