Copilot Agent

ASC's Copilot Agent is a purpose-built AI assistant integrated into Microsoft Copilot, designed to enhance user interaction with Recording Insights. Through natural language prompts in chat, users can perform key tasks such as starting/stopping recordings, retrieving transcripts, and analyzing communication data—without navigating the Recording Insights interface. This agent streamlines workflows and improves accessibility to information through prompt-based interaction.

The Agent is available to all Recording Insights users. The use requires an active Copilot license (365 Copilot Chat license minimum).

Users only see results for which they have authorization. Instructions on user settings can be found in the administration manual.

ASC Copilot Agent in Teams

The Agent serves as an interface for accessing Recording Insights content from an external system. There are three ways for interaction:

Copilot Teams Chat Extension

The Copilot Teams Chat Extension is a plug-in that is available in every Teams chat and allows users to select predefined actions. This allows users to interact with the ASC Copilot Agent directly in the chat context. For further information, see Copilot in Chat.

Copilot Outlook Extension

The Copilot Outlook Extension is another access point for the ASC Copilot Agent. It enables users to interact with Recording Insights directly from Outlook. his extension mirrors the Teams Copilot App and provides an alternative access route. For further information, see Copilot Outlook.
