Add Pattern with Fragments

Here, you can create patterns for strings of characters to be able to search for this string of characters, e. g. an IBAN or an email address.

Name

  1. In the Name field, enter a unique name for the new Pattern that does not already exist.

NOTICE! When saving the Pattern, an error message is issued if the name is already used for another Pattern.

Add fragments

  1. Enter the fragments for your string of characters.

  

Move the fragment up or down.

Delete the fragment.

Select type

Click in the field Select type and select an option from the drop-down list.

  • Letters
  • Numbers
  • Symbols (special characters)
  • AlphaNumeric (Letters, numbers)

Input field

In the entry field, enter the number of characters for the letters, digits, special characters or alphanumeric characters.

  • A digit (example 2)
  • A range (example: up to 15 characters)

Input field or exact

Enter in the entry field or exact the respective string of characters (example: @, asc, etc.)

Add an additional fragment.

  1. Click on the button Save to save the settings.
  2. Click on the button Cancel to discard the settings.
