All entries in the fields Name, Description, and Regular expression can be changed.

Version

The version indicates the number of changes made for the created Pattern.

NOTICE! The version counter is started with the first saved change to a Pattern.

By selecting an earlier version, an previous created Pattern version can be restored.

  1. Select an earlier version.
  2. Click on the button Restore version to save the version.
    Click on the button Cancel to discard the settings.
    • The Pattern is closed.

Name

  1. In the field Name, enter a new unambiguous name for the new pattern.

NOTICE! When saving the pattern, you will receive an error message if a pattern recognition with this name already exists.

Description

  1. Entering a description is optional.
  2. Enter in the entry field Description, enter additional details and information about application field.

Regular Expression

Enter in the entry field Regular Expression enter a regular expression.
Example: 1\d{6} (= 6-digit character string, starting with 1)

  1. Click on the button Save to save the settings.
  2. NOTICE! After saving, the changes will take effect for the new evaluations.
  3. Click on the button Cancel to discard the settings.
